Typical application:

An electromagnetic flow meter can be used to measure the volumetric flow of a conductive fluid in a closed conduit.

It has been widely used for flow measurement and control in various industrial and agricultural production processes such as in petroleum, chemical, steel, metallurgy, water supply and drainage, water irrigation, water treatment, environmental sewage control, paper making, medicine, food, etc.

The conductivity of medium should be higher than 5 μs/cm. 

Working pressure: 0.6 - 10.0 MPa

Medium temperature: no higher than 180 degree Celsius


Ambient conditions:

Ambient temperature: - 25℃ - +60℃(for sensor)

                       - 10℃ - +60℃ (for transmitter)

Humidity: 5% - 95%


Enclosure protection grade: IP65, IP67, TP68, optional on request

It has good corrosion resistance to hydrochloric acids of all concentrations below the boiling point. It is resistant to corrosion by non-oxidizing acids, such as dilute sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, hydrofluoric acid, and organic acids, etc. And it is also resistant to corrosion from non-oxidizing alkalis, and salt liquids.
3Hastelloy C
(HC)
Resistant to oxidizing    acids such as nitric acids,concentrated sulfuric acid, mixed acids,including mixed liquids of chromic acid and sulfuric acid. Also resistant to corrosion from oxidizing salt liquids,those salt liquids containing Fe+++ or Cu++ and other oxidants, such as hypochlorite solutions above normal temperature,or,seawater.
4Titanium(Ti)It is resistant to seawater, various chlorides and hypochlorites, oxidizing acids (including fuming nitric acid), organic acids, alkalis, etc.It is not resistant to corrosion by purer reducing acids (such as dilute sulfuric acid and    hydrochloric acid).But,  when an oxidizing agent (such as nitric acid, Fe+++, Cu++) is contained in a acid    liquid, the corrosion resistance is greatly lowered.
5Tantalum(Ta)It has excellent corrosion resistance and is very similar to glass. Except for hydrofluoric acid, fuming sulfuric acid, fuming nitric acid, alkali, it s almost resistant to corrosion by all chemical media including boiling point hydrochloric acid, nitric acid, and sulfuric acid. But, it is not    resistant to corrosion in alkalis.
6Platinum Iridium  AlloyIt is suitable for almost all chemicals, but not for aqua regia and ammonium salts.
7Tungsten carbideIt has good wear resistance, can be used for the measurement of high-abrasion medium, such as paper pulp, ore slurry and so on.

3. A measuring tube lined with teflon has good resistance to negative    pressure.  Adding metal mesh into the lining will enhance the resistance of the flowmeter to negative pressure.
4. The wear resistance is poor.
1. It is suitable for    non-abrasion liquids at temperature range of -25℃ - +140℃.
2.It is also suitable for those liquids flow measurement at hygienic conditions.
5FEP
(F46)
1. It is hydrophobic and non-sticky.
2. Its corrosion resistance is second only to PFA.
3. Metal mesh can be added into the lining material to enhance the negative pressure resistance.
4. It has poor wear resistance.
1. It is suitable for non-abrasion liquids at temperature range of
-25℃ - +100℃.

2. It is also suitable for those liquids flow measurement at hygienic conditions.

6PTFE

1. It is the most stable chemical material among all plastics, being resistant to boiling hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, nitric acid and aqua regia, also resistant to concentrated alkali and various organic solvents.But, it is not resistant to chlorine trifluoride, high temperature oxide fluoride, high flow rate liquefied fluorine, liquefied oxygen, ozone corrosion.

2. It has poor wear resistance.
3. It has poor resistance to negative pressure. The lining with this material is easy to appear deformation or fracture to cause leakage at the electrode.

2. It is suitable for strong corrosive liquids, such as concentrated acid, concentrated alkali, etc.

7Ceramic

1. It has high wear resistance, high negative pressure resistance.
2. It has long-term excellent stability and high accuracy.
